At the end of 2019, National Gift Card (NGC) had a keyword portfolio with the lowest rankings they’ve seen since 2018. We wanted to increase their keyword rankings, specifically on the first page, to start driving more organic traffic to the site and appear before more searchers in the Google search results.

Our strategy

Perfect Search began by performing keyword research and optimizing all of the meta data throughout the NGC site. We focused on brand pages that had performed the best historically in both organic traffic and conversions.

The PSM team then started to dissect and optimize the on-page content to ensure that we were aligning with search intent. We optimized copy to clearly communicate to potential customers the process of ordering NGC products and what each brand offered.
